Bihar Police Notebook helps you write Hindi letters and FIR case diaries in the browser. Type in everyday Romanized Hindi (Hinglish) on a computer, or use your phone’s keyboard. Your work is saved on this device; you can optionally back it up to your own Google Drive.
Open the app: https://bpdiary.arverma.dev/
(bpdiary is just the web address for Bihar Police Notebook.)
- Write letters and case diaries that print like A4 paper
- Keep a history of documents on this computer or phone
- Print or Save as PDF from your browser
- Optionally back up to Google Drive (only when you connect and sync)
- On a computer: Hindi Typing toggle, Essential 9-symbol Punctuation Panel, and an optional speak-to-type microphone
- On a phone: use the keyboard (including its mic) — the in-app mic is hidden on purpose
Easiest: open bpdiary.arverma.dev in Chrome or another modern browser.
The same website works on both. On a phone, some computer-only controls are hidden (Hindi Typing toggle and in-app microphone) so the screen stays clear — use your keyboard instead. On a computer, you get the Hindi Typing toggle (transliteration) and the speak-to-type button. Details for developers: Desktop vs mobile.
- Notes are stored on your device in the browser.
- Drive backup is optional. Nothing goes to Google until you sign in from History and sync. Copies go to your Drive folder named Bihar Police Notebook Backup — do not delete.
- More privacy and shortcuts: open Help (
?) in the app, or help.html.
