WeChat/Weixin is one of the largest consumer platforms globally. In Tencent’s 2025 Q3 results (period ended September 30, 2025), Weixin and WeChat reported 1,414 million combined monthly active accounts. For products targeting Chinese-speaking users, cross-border users, or Asia-focused markets, “Login with WeChat” is often a core auth requirement rather than a niche integration.
