I2C protocol update which removes all assumed magic alignments (data region not assumed contiguous, etc.) and adds the meta region to back buffers. Config structs updated to offer more information to clients / matching new protocol.
See au-ts/sddf#434 - NOTE: these PRs must be merged together and are strictly dependent on one another! i2c will stop working if either is omitted.
