Trying something out. I don't really like the
continue-on-error: ${{ matrix.dependencies == 'pre' }}. I seem to recall that it sometimes showed red checks and green checks in an inconsistent way. What I want is a visual indicator that the pre-release tests are failing without marking PRs as potentially problematic to merge.This PR tries to make pre-release failures show up as gray instead of red or green.
