<collation mainStructures="8"> I 10, II-VIII 8, IX 10[8-10 cancelled, though only two stubs visible], X 8, X I2, XII-XV 8, XV I2, XVII-XVIII 8, XIX 8 [8 cancelled, verso of 7 blank], XX-XXXVII 8, XXXVIII 4 [lacks 1 and 2, text missing]. Each quire is systematically marked either (1) with a symbol (such as a cross) and letters from ‘a’ to ‘d’ or ‘e’ in the bottom right hand corner of the rectos in the first half of the quire with the symbol alone on the recto of the central bifolium of each quire or (2) in the later quires, with a letter to which four of different sigla are added in succession. In addition, each quire is numbered with a roman numeral on the verso of the last folio and given a flourished catchword, both in the lower inner margin. Quire numbering starts again at I on fol. 148v (last folio of the first quire of part 2). </collation>
