Code materials and setup instructions for EPI 293 at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Overview

This repository contains scripts and documentation to help you set up your computing environment for the course labs.

Getting Started

Complete the following setup steps in order:

1. Connect to the Cluster via SSH (Optional)

If you prefer using your local terminal instead of the OOD web interface:

📁 setup/ssh_from_local_terminal/

• Set up passwordless SSH access
• Connect from your local terminal (macOS/Linux/WSL)

2. Install the Conda Environment

Set up the required software and packages:

📁 setup/install_environment/

• Install Miniconda
• Create the epi293 conda environment
• Verify your installation

Lab Modules

📁 module/

• Lab 3: GWAS and Meta-Analysis with REGENIE

Prerequisites

• Harvard VPN connection (if off-campus)
• HarvardKey credentials
• Access to the course cluster (provided in class)
