Add a link to this list: https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-linux Also, maybe highlight at the beginning that this will only work if you haven't been locked out. |
|
Also, maybe refer to debian instructions (so we don't have repeated instructions) |
Which debian instructions are you referring to? This one? https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/debian/ If so it is pretty long and the important step (adding docker group) is hidden on the bottom. Also it installs from docker proper, not using the debian repo. |
You mean disabled by "locked out?" Also the list may be distracting, perhaps we should just mention what the error looks like if it is disabled or not available. My experience is that most machines (even the old ones) are supported. |

Found this list of supported Chromebook systems. Maybe it's useful to post it in the Chromebook instructions as an "if you don't see the Linux development environment option check to see if your Chromebook model is listed here" or something. https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-linux |
Docker works well on a Chromebook. This PR adds instructions on how to install and configure Docker on a Chromebook.
