saaarthi (Interactive Urban Issue Reporter) empowers citizens to report civic problems such as potholes, broken streetlights, or vandalism directly to local authorities. Users can geo-tag issues, attach images, provide descriptions, and track status. Authorities can respond and update status to ensure transparency and accountability.

Use your preferred IDE
If you want to work locally using your own IDE, you can clone this repo and push changes.
The only requirement is having Node.js & npm installed - install with nvm
Follow these steps:

Auth in this demo is local-only: logging in stores a simple object in localStorage (key saarthi_auth) with shape { role, name, token } and is used to protect dashboard routes. Use the Landing page to sign in as a citizen or authority for quick testing.
