Overview
porting over the spectrum spec @nashqueue and I wrote during/before the last onsite before I forget
from a sync from last week we just wanted to keep this with the rest of our stuff, we don't really need a thorough review for now although I'll try and update this week if there is any!
this doc definitely requires a lot of context to grok, so its not really intended to be isolable. the end is still slightly sloppy, so tbh I'd opt to throw this out after writing a proper spec later should it be prioritized.
