Rule Action SMS Twillio

Send a SMS via Twillio.

First you will need to signup for a Twilio account.

Configuration

Twilio account sid

Your account SID can be found in the general settings at https://www.twilio.com/console/project/settings.

Twilio auth token

Your account auth token can be found in the general settings at https://www.twilio.com/console/project/settings.

The Twilio phone number attached to your account you wish to use

This is the sender (your) phone number.

In order to send a SMS, a phone number need to be added to your account.

Current numbers can be seen at https://www.twilio.com/console/phone-numbers/incoming, otherwise your first number can be purchased at https://www.twilio.com/console/phone-numbers/search.

Use the "friendly name" as the value for this configuration.

Example:

(555) 555-5555

The message receiver phone number

Destination number the message is to be delivered at.

Example:

(555) 555-5555

Message

Message to deliver.

Note: While Twillio support messages larger than 160 characters, they will be considered as multiple segments and be charged accordingly. https://twilio.com/docs/glossary/what-sms-character-limit
