The upstream repo has had some updates since we originally forked and we want to see if any of these changes would benefit our project.
Motivation and context
It's been a number of years since our fork and it looks like there might be bug fixes or implementations that might benefit our project
Acceptance criteria
- Research what new changes have been added since we forked the repo
- Check that our registry and registrar supports any of changes
- Chat with a lead to see if it would make sense to bring the changes over to our fork
- Create another ticket if bringing the changes over makes sense
