저는 온콜 엔지니어는 아니지만, 주변에 온콜 대기를 하시는 분들이 계시고 + 온콜 브이로그...조차 있더라구요. (유튜브에 검색하면 진짜 나옴)
아무래도 24/7 대응을 위해서 필수불가결한 인적 운영인거 같고, 주요 도전 과제는 아무래도 '복구'이겠죠..?

저도 궁금, 아직 크리티컬한 버그 픽스나 트러블 슈팅에 대한 굵직한 경험이 거의 전무해서..

| 온콜 업무는 시스템 신뢰성을 보장하기 위한 하나의 수단이지만 결국 이 작업도 사람이 하는 것이기 때문에 상시 대응해야 한다는 스트레스가 쉽지 않을 것 같다. 적절한 보상이 꼭 필요할 것 같고, 마치 간호사가 새벽에도 상시 응급 상황에 대응하는 것과 비슷한 것 같다. |

교대근무라는게 아무리 다음 날 휴식을 취한다고 해도 밤낮이 바뀌어버리니 피곤한게 좀 오래가는 경향이 있는데, 근무 중에도 항시 집중을 유지해야 하니..
정말 관련 업무 하시는 분들에 대한 존경심이 드네요...

| 문제 해결 과정에서 시스템에 대한 이해 부족으로 인해 발생하는, 특히 이해했다고 착각하고 작업하는 경우 정말 많은 손해가 발생하는 것 같다. |

시스템뿐만 아니라 기술을 새로 배울 때도 항상 그러는 것 같아요. 초반에는 이해했다고 착각했던 것들이 더 공부하다보면 아니라는 걸 알게 되고..매번 공부할게 많다고 느끼는게 이런 것들 때문인 것 같네요
