This is your space to share your work, your journey, and what matters to you as a developer. Don’t worry about being overly polished—just be real.
Have a look at our previous spotlights here.
We’ve outlined a few ideas below to help you get started, but feel free to adapt it to your own style.
- A short paragraph about who you are, what you do, and what excites you about development.
- Pick at least 4 projects that matter to you—whether they challenged you, taught you something new, or just felt great to build.
For each project, you can include:
- Visuals: Screenshots, gifs, videos (or links)
- What it was: A brief description
- Tech stack: What tools/languages you used
Optional (but encouraged):
- Who you collaborated with
- Challenges you faced and how you solved them
- Any recognition or feedback you received
- Why this project stood out for you (inspiration, story, lessons learned)
Help readers understand your background and approach:
- Bio: A bit about your path—education, career, or how you got into creative dev
- Philosophy: Your mindset or principles when approaching a project
- Tools & Workflow: What tools or frameworks you enjoy working with
- Currently Learning: Anything new you’re exploring
- Current Challenges: Things you’re still figuring out
Wrap things up however you like:
- A message to readers
- Advice, reflections, or something you've learned
- A favorite quote or idea that sticks with you
- Size: 1600×1200 (4:3 ratio)
- Include:
- "Developer Spotlight"
- Your name
- The Codrops logo
- Use the Codrops blue:
