Summary of Changes

Hello @yoctozepto, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request reorganizes the go.mod file to ensure proper sorting of direct and indirect dependencies. This change aims to resolve potential issues with Go tooling that might misinterpret the dependency structure, leading to more stable and predictable module management. A new direct dependency, github.com/hashicorp/hcl/v2, has also been added as part of this update.

Highlights

  • Dependency Reorganization: The go.mod file has been updated to sort and consolidate direct and indirect dependencies, preventing tooling confusion.
  • New Direct Dependency: github.com/hashicorp/hcl/v2 has been added as a direct dependency.
  • Indirect Dependency Consolidation: Several indirect dependencies were moved from a separate require block into the main require block, ensuring all dependencies are listed in a unified and sorted manner.

Code Review

This pull request cleans up the go.mod file by sorting direct and indirect dependencies and consolidating them into their respective require blocks. The change correctly moves github.com/hashicorp/hcl/v2 to the direct dependencies section. These changes improve the structure and maintainability of the dependency file. The changes look good.
