Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe/recipe.yaml) and found it was in an excellent condition.

I do have some suggestions for making it better though...

For recipe/recipe.yaml:

  • ℹ️ The recipe is not parsable by parser conda-recipe-manager. The recipe can only be automatically migrated to the new v1 format if it is parseable by conda-recipe-manager.

This message was generated by GitHub Actions workflow run https://github.com/conda-forge/conda-forge-webservices/actions/runs/17875967037. Examine the logs at this URL for more detail.

To rerun after conda-forge/pyamrex-feedstock#49 is merged.

@EZoni we need to build the two new dims here, too: -DWarpX_DIMS="1;2;3;RCYLINDER;RSPHERE;3"

I think this was not yet added in build.sh and build.bat

Haha, ok not considered yet that AMReX can be pre-compiled. Needs a WarpX patch:

│ │ -- Requested AMReX component 'RCYLINDERD' was not found.
│ │ -- Requested AMReX component 'RSPHERED' was not found.
 │ │ CMake Error at cmake/dependencies/AMReX.cmake:295 (find_package):
│ │ Found package configuration file:
 │ │ $PREFIX/lib/cmake/AMReX/AMReXConfig.cmake
│ │ but it set AMReX_FOUND to FALSE so package "AMReX" is considered to be NOT
 │ │ FOUND.

macOS x64 & arm64 compile issue:

 │ │ make[2]: Entering directory '$SRC_DIR/build'
 │ │ make[2]: *** No rule to make target '/Applications/Xcode_15.2.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.13.sdk/usr/lib/libpthread.tbd', needed by 'bin/warpx.1d.NOMPI.OMP.DP.PDP.OPMD.FFT.EB.QED'. Stop.

But weird that it affects Cartesian 1D (first). Also, we publicly search and link (p)threads in AMReX and thus for all our targets.

The macOS 13 reference is funny, because the AMReX 25.09, pyAMReX 25.09 and this WarpX PR transitioned from macOS 13 to 15... Could be another dep causing this

Let's see if the patching of openPMD files [1] [2] fixes the macOS linker issues caused by HDF5 dependencies...
