Initial thoughts to revisit later. Thanks for doing this first pass, very helpful at provoking my own thoughts on the content and tone of voice.

Might be nice to have our policy for filming and audio recording standardized and written in here.

led by Pacific Northwest Bell Director of Network Operations Herb Warrick, Jr.
As they prepared for the divestiture of the Bell System, Herb and others
realized that this could be the last chance to save the equipment and machinery
that built the telephone network in the US before it was scrapped.

Why?

response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic. PNB provided space for the new
museum, and provided moving and rigging expertise for the larger, heavy items.
Herb and curator Don Ostrand arranged for telephone equipment to be transferred
to the museum as it was being removed from service.

Links to historical documents or our archival youtube footage might be nice here

Before long, a team of volunteers were rebuilding a real telephone central
office, complete with switching machines, telegraphs and teletypes,
switchboards, and a customer service center. Donations came pouring in
from all across the US and around the world.

This section is very vague and departs from the overall tone. Specific milestones and citations might be nice?

Why? Might be cool to talk about the philosophy, blue collar origins, an anecdote about the switchmen knowing the equipment behavior by sound, or the fact that running the relays keeps many of them from deteriorating because the equipment was mever designed to be turned off

logic. Along with its predecessor, our is the only one remaining in the world.

At the 1XB, visitors can try their hand at "blue boxing" an authentic
telephone switch, just like the early fone phreaks did in the 1970s.

Super vague

the public. Unfortunately, it was not a hit. Adoption of the new
technology was slow, and AT&T was eventually forced to discontinue
the product and admit defeat.
