This fixes a test cases and flaky behaviour. CloseResponse no longer blocks in connectrpc/connect-go@d55ebd8. To ensure the testcases run we update the calls to ensure the streams are drained, confirming the ordering of events. Tests now pass locally with
go test -count=100.
