Could not read keymap file: 'en-us'

Hello dear Core Devices devs,

i have recently installed the Pebble SDK and i cannot launch the emulator because apparently a keymap file is missing. I am not sure how to fix that issue. I am running Nobara 43 and have made sure that the qemu-system-data package (which according to my knowledge includes dependencies such as the keymap files) is installed.

How can i fix that? Or alternatively how can i specify a different keymap or skip it altogether (if possible)?

Want to confirm that I am also seeing this when trying to launch the emulator via the VSCode extension in an Ubuntu 24.04 distrobox.

Couldn't launch emulator:
qemu-pebble: -vnc :1: could not read keymap file: 'en-us'

OS: Bazzite (Fedora 44) (Linux x64 7.0.9)
VSCode: 1.123.1
Pebble SDK: 4.9.169

Changing to the previous version of Pebble SDK (4.9.148) fixes this for me.
