Installation

Clone the project using the following command:

Usage

The Emergency Android App is designed to be intuitive and easy to use.

Setting Up

  1. Install the App: Start by cloning the repository and installing the app on your Android device.
  2. Configure Emergency Contacts:
    • Open the app and navigate to the Contacts section.
    • Import contacts from your phone or add them manually.
    • These contacts will be the ones the app notifies in case of an emergency.

Managing Your Profile

In Case of Emergency

  1. Send Emergency SMS:

    • Press the emergency button to automatically send an SMS to all your emergency contacts.
    • The SMS will include your current location and a pre-configured message indicating that you need help.
  2. Make Emergency Calls:

    • Use the app to directly call a predefined emergency number with just one tap.
  3. Location Services:

    • Ensure that location services are enabled on your device so that your exact location can be shared with your contacts and emergency services when you use the emergency features.
