what's the usecase of this? I personally never would want to adjust this, so its just extra maintenance burden and UI confusion?

It’s mainly to let users customize their deck layout, some columns become more important depending on the context, and it can be annoying to have to h-scroll

totally get the concern though, open to feedback!

I think we need a way to let users customize columns, some sort of new section to update column type/filters, sorting, title, size, etc.

like I mentioned on the call, we can add this but it just needs to be behind a flag and off by default

@jb55 sounds good, but first we need to make sure deserialization can handle the new fields, or rendering will break, losing columns and overwriting the deck config with a bad state
