I noticed that when the Method Selector is open and the dropdown is active, the keybindings to switch methods are not working for me (on mac osx terminal in tmux). This PR makes a small 1 line change setting type_to_search=False which appears to fix the issue. I've updated the snapshot test and added a test suite (note claude helped me with the suite FWIW). Glad to have someone else modify this branch to complete the PR
