What is YouBrokeProd?
YouBrokeProd is a free browser-based incident simulation game where you practice diagnosing production failures through realistic scenarios. It covers 9 failure modes including disk full, DB connection pool exhaustion, SSL certificate expiry, Kubernetes crash loops, DNS failures, memory leaks, Redis thundering herd, API breaking changes, and Lambda cold starts.
Why it fits the Gamedays section
YouBrokeProd functions as a solo gameday exercise - you're dropped into a simulated production incident and have to diagnose the root cause using logs, metrics, and error messages. It's a practical way to build the muscle memory that makes real gamedays more effective.
The entry has been added to the bottom of the Gamedays section per the contribution guidelines.
