looks great! A few minor changes / recommendations. Also, will the readme be visible in the pydocs or anything in pypi? I think the pydocs should at least point to the python readme if you don't want to create an entire pypi readme or you may be able to copy and paste your readme.md text over so that it shows up on pypi.
