Building thoughtful software that solves complex problems and creates exceptional experiences.
I am a software engineer, product builder, and founder of Taylor Creative Development.
I believe great software should do more than function correctly. It should feel intentional, intuitive, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
My work begins with understanding the problem, defining a clear product vision, and designing the right system before implementation begins. I care about the full experience—from architecture and maintainability to the smallest details a user sees and feels.
I build software around three core ideas:
Strong products require clear requirements, deliberate architecture, maintainable code, meaningful testing, and disciplined execution.
Software should not merely expose features. It should guide users naturally, reduce friction, and make difficult tasks feel simple.
The best technology serves a real purpose. I am most interested in products that improve an existing experience, solve an overlooked problem, or make something possible that was previously too complicated.
An Apple-first music platform designed to bring playback, library management, trustworthy listening history, analytics, rediscovery, and deeper personalization into one cohesive experience.
Current work includes technical feasibility research involving MusicKit, listening capture, historical data, synchronization, and native Apple-platform integration.
A living political simulation built around campaigns, elections, governing, legislation, media, public opinion, and long-term career consequences.
The project explores complex simulation systems, persistent world state, emergent storytelling, and responsible use of generative AI.
A sports companion concept focused on helping fans discover meaningful public conversations, understand game context, and follow the broader experience surrounding the teams and events they care about.
A focused native application for adding, reviewing, practicing, and memorizing Scripture while developing the complete application-delivery workflow from local development through testing and release.
Taylor Creative Development is not tied to one operating system, framework, or device category.
The goal is to build high-quality software wherever the product belongs, including:
- Native Apple applications
- Web applications
- Windows applications
- Android applications
- Cloud-backed platforms
- Shared packages and developer tools
- AI-enhanced and agentic systems
Technology choices should follow the needs of the product rather than define the product.
My development process separates product decisions from implementation.
I serve as the product visionary, product planner, and final decision-maker for my projects. I use structured collaboration with engineering strategy, architecture, implementation, review, testing, and documentation roles to move ideas from concept to dependable software.
Agentic development is part of that workflow, but it does not replace engineering judgment. Agents help research, plan, implement, test, and review work within clearly defined responsibilities and human-approved direction.
I strive to build software that is:
- Purposeful
- Intuitive
- Carefully architected
- Maintainable over the long term
- Tested according to its risks
- Honest about uncertainty and limitations
- Respectful of user privacy and trust
- Polished enough to be enjoyed, not merely tolerated
I value forward progress, but I do not believe speed excuses careless engineering.
The goal is not perfection before release. The goal is to ship work worth trusting and continue making it better.
- Product strategy and discovery
- Software architecture and systems design
- Native application development
- Modern web development
- Cloud services and data platforms
- Simulation systems
- Agentic software development
- Artificial intelligence used with clear purpose

- GitHub
- Agentic coding tools
I am interested in contributing useful fixes, documentation, packages, and developer tools to the wider software community.
Public work should provide genuine value—not exist merely to fill a contribution graph.
I want the software I build to reflect craftsmanship.
That means solving real problems, thinking beyond the obvious implementation, testing what matters, refining the experience, and delivering something people can trust.
Thoughtful engineering. Exceptional experiences. Meaningful software.
