Experienced engineer needing proven C++ experience - assign me bugs

I am an experienced software dev with loads of java experience, but my C++ experience has been hard to come by (hard to find job in it around here) making my resume weak for potential game dev opportunities.

Was thinking of just grabbing a simple-ish issue and trying to work it to get some modern C++ experience.

Hit me up with some ideas for issues i can run with?

As far as I know, Blizzard said they lost the source code when they were remastering Diablo II, and they formed a dedicated team to reverse-engineer it. Where there is a need, there is work. I think you can start by cracking some games' DRM.

I think you are confusing multiple things here. Afaik they never lost the D2 src and didn't have to reverse-engineer it.

Honestly, I really wish such a reverse-engineering team existed. I believe the community's power needs some funding to get more people to participate.
