Adds BroadcastChannel support, which basically means selecting your preferences in one tab selects them automatically in all open tabs. This functionality is becoming baseline in 14.9.2024, but support in all browsers except Safari have been since 2015-2017.
Made the changes few weeks back but forgot to PR.
Closes #7
