Hi, I'm Olivier Dobberkau 👋

CEO (R&D) at dkd Internet Service GmbH (Frankfurt am Main) · President of the TYPO3 Association

I've been working in and around the TYPO3 ecosystem for 25+ years — as an agency lead, an extension maintainer, and in TYPO3 governance. These days most of my open source work sits at the intersection of CMS infrastructure, search, AI tooling, and supply-chain trust.

🔭 What I'm working on

  • EXT:solr & hosted-solr.com — Apache Solr integration for TYPO3, co-maintained since forever
  • goodbot-badbot.com — Web Bot Auth / robots.txt honeypot research
  • Illico — a CLI crawler / LLM-wiki tool for turning crawled content into structured knowledge
  • Governance work on CRA (Cyber Resilience Act) & NIS2 compliance for open source CMS projects, via the Open Website Alliance

  • Agentic coding workflows (Claude Code, LiteLLM proxying) for CMS development teams
  • Supply-chain security tooling for the TYPO3/Composer ecosystem
  • Content lifecycle modeling (Salience / Buoyancy / Drift) — a continuation of ideas from the EU FP7 project ForgetIT

  • Board & bylaws reform, RFC process, and long-term project governance
