Claiming a MEMO

This guide will walk you through the process of claiming a MEMO (digital badge) on Dotmemo.

Steps to Claim a MEMO

1. Visit the Dotmemo website
2. Click on the "Claim" button in the top navigation bar
3. You will be presented with two options:
   • Enter a MEMO Code
   • Scan QR code

Option 1: Enter a MEMO Code

If you have received a MEMO code from an event organizer:

1. Enter the code in the "Enter MEMO Code" field
2. Click on the QR code icon if you prefer to scan a QR code
3. Click "Continue"

Try It Now!

We've created a test MEMO for you to try out the claiming process. Follow these steps:

1. Go to our test MEMO claim page
2. Enter the code: dotdark
3. Follow the prompts to claim your first MEMO
4. This test MEMO will help you understand how the claiming process works and give you a taste of what Dotmemo offers!

After Claiming

Once you've successfully claimed a MEMO:

• The MEMO will be added to your collection
• You can view it in your Dotmemo profile or connected wallet
• Share your new MEMO on social media to showcase your participation!

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues while claiming a MEMO:

• Ensure you're using the correct MEMO code or DOT address
• Check that the MEMO is still available for claiming (some may have limited quantities)
• Make sure your wallet is properly connected to the Dotmemo dApp
