Again, #3619 is not championed at the moment. You can have an open question about whether we should consider it as well at the same time, but it is not currently a championed proposal. |

Discussion
There already exists the spec for null-coalescing on pointers. Should it remain as an individual proposal that will be possibly handled from a separate PR, or have it merged into this one?
