Dependecy issues

With the windows version v1.1.4:

• When selecting either Photogrammetry of Haussian Splatting
• Or when starting the process after selecting folders and pressing start
• Either with or without the "Use GPU when possible" is checked
• We are prompted with dependcies installation options "Yes (CUDA / NVIDIA), Yes (CPU Only), Yes (AMD gpu)"
• Any of these buttons will display de the "downloading dependencies" spinner and just get us back to the main ui.
• No work is started

Interesting - could you share a screenshot of the contents of your %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\com.example\simple_photogrammetry_gui folder - this is where the dependencies are stored.

and another question - do you have any special characters or spaces or something in your username? it could be that is causing issues perhaps.

Hmm that looks all correct... well I just added another check / safety to the dependency check - maybe that will fix it:

(It'll ask one more time & get some new & fixed dependencies - and yeah let me know if after that it is fixed)

Ok so it fixes part of the problem.

• The dependencies panel ends when done (i can assume)
• When i start the gaussian process, step 0 (copy and resize) seems to pass, but step 1 (Sift Extraction) runs indefinitly with no progress info (infinite load bar below)
• I tryed this step 1 part multiple configuration (small and big images, lots and few images)

Do you have any way to produce logs so i can help debug ?

Hmm I see - could you run tree /f inside the %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\com.example\simple_photogrammetry_gui folder & share the output?

maybe something I don't see at the top level didn't install correctly

as for logs - in v1.1.5 there wasn't a way, but I just added an option to view logs in v1.1.6 - so that could be useful as well!

oh also quick note on v1.1.6 - I changed the approach with which dependencies are installed completely in v1.1.6 so it could be the bug is now fixed by itself (in v1.1.6 you can go into the settings & click "Re-Download Dependencies" to try and see if that fixes it)

Yeah the new 1.1.6 version is working fine, all step are passed and the splats are generated.
Just a quick last question, why do i have multiple .ply files in the out folder ?
