Scoring

Each player has score, which only shows how cool he is and does not affect the gameplay, although this might change in the future, in order to reward a high score somehow. Score is stored with player's account, so it is saved when you exit the game and restored when you join the server and login.

To gain score you must block other players (see more about blocking below). When you block a player, you steal some amount of score from him. Stealing means that player loses some score and you gain (usually the same) amount of score. Every such score transaction is accompanied by overhead text notification. can haz screenshot?

Blocking

Blocking generally means forcefully freezing a player by making him touch/fall into a freeze zone, so that he can't perform any actions. In DDWar, a player is considered blocked after he remains frozen for 5 seconds. The last tee who hooked the blocked player (while he was still unfrozen) steals score from him. After player unfreezes, he must be free for some time before he can be blocked again. To get complete understanding of blocking model you can refer to this diagram: blocking modelblocking model
