fix: drop axios http client in favor of native node fetch - #56

This commit, in addition to dropping the axios dependency, also updates various dev dependencies. Many of these dependencies have not been updated since the first release of this package. As a result of this update, all CVE's caused by **dev** dependencies have been fixed.
