Hey everyone,
There’s nothing big to say, just a small note before I leave. I started open source without much thought—just making things, sharing them, having fun. It felt nice, knowing that my work was out there, that someone, somewhere, might find it useful.
But over time, I started feeling differently. Not everything needs to be public. Some things were too personal, some were never meant to be shared. I built projects late at night, poured my thoughts into them, and left them open for the world without thinking twice. But now, I don’t want to do that anymore.
I’ve made most of my repos private—not because they were great or valuable, but because they were mine. Some projects will remain available, but many won’t. And about KHCrypt—it’s discontinued. There won’t be any updates, but the older versions will stay.
But before I go, I just want to say thank you to everyone who stood with me in this open-source world. To all the contributors of DevBlogs, to those who helped improve my projects, reported issues, or even just left a star—thank you. You made this journey meaningful.
This isn’t some big announcement. I just don’t feel like being a part of open source anymore. Maybe I’ll return, maybe I won’t. Doesn’t really matter.
If you ever used something I made, thanks. That’s all.
Goodbye, open-source world.
It was good while it lasted.
