Closing this out for 9.0. The validation was different, so the tests properly don't pass. Changing them would be a breaking change, which is not intended for a bug fix. |

Actually, on second thought, the tests are a secondary part of this PR. I'm going to not apply the tests and, instead, only apply the CLI change. |
