You made it to the final beta.

🆕 New Features & Changes

  • New Difficulties + Items: Added difficulties and items from Blessing all the way to Frivolous. Good luck, have fun, and try not to lose your mind.
  • MORE Crafting Items: The crafting system just got chunkier. More stuff to make, more ways to break my code.
  • 2 New Quests:
    • Learning The Past
    • Ludicrous Escape
  • Crafting Introductions Revamp: The crafting onboarding is now less confusing (hopefully).
  • Leaderboards Optimization: Leaderboards now refresh every 3 minutes instead of every 30 seconds.
  • Midgame Rebalance: If midgame felt cursed, now it's less cursed.
  • Performance Boosts: Optimized a bunch of systems.
  • Empire Name Changes: You can now change your empire’s name with in-game currency or Robux.
  • Softcaps Introduced: At high currency amounts, softcaps kick in. No more infinite scaling.

Reformation Update Pt. 2 (26 July 2024)

Welcome back to JME, the tycoon game that's still in beta and still just for educational purposes.

🆕 What's New?

  • New Difficulties: Added difficulties from Win all the way to Do Nothing.
  • UI Revamp: The UI got a big glow-up. Everything looks less like a 2010 PowerPoint and more like a game.
  • Quest System Rework: Quests are now way less crusty, and 4 new quests have dropped.
  • Barren Islands Expansion: The starter area got bigger, better, and more confusing.
  • Crafting + Materials: You can now craft things. There’s a real materials system.

📝 Educational Use Only

  • This build is still not for public gameplay or monetization.
  • Use the new systems to learn, mod, or reverse-engineer how a Roblox tycoon works.
  • Expect bugs, spaghetti code, and some features that straight-up don't work yet.

Reformation Update Pt. 1 (13 May 2024)

Welcome to the Reformation Update Pt. 1, where everything starts making a little more sense (but only a little). This beta is still for educational purposes only.

🆕 New Stuff

  • Difficulties Expanded: Added even more difficulties, now from Relax up to Astronomical.
  • Quest System: Brand new quest system. Get tasks, grind for rewards, and get lost in the sauce. 5 new quests are ready for you to break and study.
  • Level System: You can now level up and get level points to spend.
  • Warp Button Actually Works: No more fake buttons.
  • Item Rebalancing: Most items above True Ease have been re-balanced.
  • Second Area Released: A whole new area to explore, break, and reverse-engineer.

  • This beta is not for public gameplay or commercial use.
  • Use it to learn, mod, remix, and figure out how tycoon games work behind the scenes.
  • Expect bugs, unfinished content, and some spaghetti code. It’s all part of the process.

April Fools Update Without The Fools (1 April 2024)

It’s April Fools, but this update is 100% real and 0% prank. No “haha got you!” here, just straight-up improvements, fixes, and some spicy new stuff for your educational tycoon empire.

🆕 What’s New?

  • Difficulties Expanded: Added new difficulties from True Ease all the way to Reversed Peripherality.
  • Charger Radius Buff: Charger radius now actually matches what it says.
  • Balancing: We tweaked, nerfed, buffed, and rebalanced a bunch of stuff. If something feels off, it's probably deliberate.
  • UI Actually Looks Good Now: Major UI cleanup.
  • Private Empire Commands: You can now join private empires using commands, no invite required. Sneak in like a ninja, study other empires, or just flex your access.
  • Upgrader Logic Rework: Upgraders now use addition first, multiplication second.
  • Rounding Fixed: Squashed a weird rounding bug.
  • Currency GUI Un-whitened: The currency receive GUI no longer randomly turns into a blank white canvas.
  • New Music: Added the track Melodic Romance to Barren Islands.

🧠 Educational Notes

  • This update is for educational purposes only. Use the new features to learn, break stuff, and figure out how this tycoon code ticks.
  • All changes are open for remixing and modding (non-commercial).

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed upgraders so they don’t do math in the wrong order.
  • UI bugs and rounding issues are gone (until next time).
  • Currency receive GUI now works and isn’t just a ghost.
