Problem

The current code fails when trying to save predictions containing CUDA tensors using np.savez(), as numpy cannot directly serialize CUDA tensors.

Solution

  • Convert CUDA tensors to CPU before saving
  • Handle both individual tensors and lists of tensors (like pose_enc_list)
  • Maintain backward compatibility

Testing

  • Verified fix works with CUDA tensors
  • Confirmed no regression with CPU-only tensors
  • Tested with existing model outputs

Type of Change

  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)

- Convert CUDA tensors to CPU before saving with np.savez
- Handle both individual tensors and lists of tensors
- Ensures compatibility with numpy serialization

Fixes issue where predictions containing CUDA tensors would fail
to save due to numpy's inability to serialize CUDA tensors directly.
