Share picker for xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland: screen, window, or region.

Drop-in for hyprland-share-picker ([SELECTION]… on stdout). Window previews use Hyprland's hyprland-toplevel-export-v1 (in-process window buffers). Screen previews use wlr-screencopy. Falls back to grim when those protocols are missing.

Colors come from ~/.local/state/omarchy/current/theme/colors.toml (written by omarchy theme set) and reload if you switch theme while the picker is open.

Install

AUR

omarchy-share-picker-git builds from this repo and installs /usr/bin/omarchy-share-picker. It does not edit Hyprland config.

From source

cargo build --release
install -Dm755 target/release/omarchy-share-picker ~/.local/bin/omarchy-share-picker

~/.config/hypr/xdph.conf:

screencopy {
    allow_token_by_default = false
    custom_picker_binary = omarchy-share-picker
}

Then:

systemctl --user restart xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland.service

Needs hyprctl, slurp (region), and grim (fallback). The window list comes from XDPH_WINDOW_SHARING_LIST injected by xdph.

Preview without a portal session:
