I've made some progress on the saving. I changed the function of the file-roller so it updates now according to the tabbed pannel. When adding a new field boundry, i added a popup keyboard, a save button and adjusted the done button so that the user can add a file name and continue navigating the app. Its not completely because the waypoints don't clear correctly.
