A Whats app clone, Android application. This app was built on Kotlin using Retrofit, Picasso, Firebase Storage, Firebase Database and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Go to the Releases to download the lastest APK.
- Authentication: The app guides a new user to registration. Previously, registered users, can login using email/password.
- Chats: Post authentication, the home page of the app displays the logged in user's chat list.
- Search: Users can search the list of registered users, based on the user name.
- Settings: Users can change their profile picture and cover picture. Social links of the user can also be updated to the appropriate social networking icons.
- Profile: Users can view their friends profile by selecting the user profile from the select fragment.
- Push Notifications: Each time a new messagae is sent/received, push notifications go out to the appropriate receiver/sender
