Miscellaneous type fixes to allow legend-engine to compile with JDK > 11.
The changes in this PR along with changes in finos/legend-pure#1199 allow legend-engine to compile with Java 17.
Java 21 will require further changes in legend-pure due to Java 21 dropping support for language level 7
