Eric -- when you have a chance could you update your repo and recompile the FDS User's Guide. Take a look at the section called "Gas Phase Chemistry" in the chapter on vegetation pyrolysis. I've made a slight modification to enable us to make use of new estimates of the molecular weight of vegetation pyrolyzate.
