Hi @hackertronix, creating a delay to show a splash screen is flagged as not a good practice, as it is delaying all the processes to start the objectListActivity.class, in this case by two seconds. The splash screen should be visible until the desired activity is ready to show, without delaying the user more than its needed. |

I had to update the Gradle version along with support library versions to maintain compatibility with the latest version of Android Studio
