I'm out of the loop here, but while removing the packages makes sense (with the move to conda years back), what is happening with datatypes? Do they just go in core Galaxy now? |

I think the decision was that we do not want this anymore, since datatype code might have to bad impact on Galaxy's performance. At the same time we made it pretty simple to add new datatypes to the codebase, e.g. in the current release. |
