I tried to go once over all tags here: https://preview.galaxyproject.org/tags/
For this round, I only changed, removed, or added very obvious tags to harmonize the usage of tags over the posts from past news and event items.
Maybe in future, we should do another round of improvement by inspecting the tags and merge closely similar tags.
