Hi @shiltemann @teresa-m @scottcain @Delphine-L, over the years I've noticed we get a lot of inquiries on Matrix so I created this FAQ page to illustrate its purpose from the perspective of both Newbies and Users Experienced in other platforms (Discord/Teams/Slack). Just the other day, this discussion was mentioned in a meeting I was in, and also this is an on-going issue for the Stats & Machine Learning working-group. This FAQ is intended to clarify the reasoning behind using Matrix and how to apply that in the context of Galaxy. Please review for contextual meaning (as well as errors). Thank you. |

thanks so much @hujambo-dunia! this has been on my todo-list forever, looks great to me
(I just pushed some changes to the heading levels because otherwise it breaks the index on the FAQ overview page)

should we add some direct links here to some of the Galaxy rooms? at least the GTN and Galaxy Lobby, but maybe also some of the community channels, what do you think?

This table isnt rendering nicely for me, I don't think it likes the multiline cells, so either make it a full html table, or just use single-line cells in markdown
