Hello, I submitted the query about updating this galaxy tool.

Just NB: even the online eggnog-mapper server at http://eggnog-mapper.embl.de/
which I have verified uses the latest eggnog-mapper version v2.1.12, does not appear to use database v6.
According to what is visible on the site, it is still using v5.

I have emailed the eggnog-mapper.embl.de contacts to ask why this is so.

version 2.1.13 is currently available for tool and data manager.

according to the changelog the tool is fine, but the DM only downloads v5

I opened bioconda/bioconda-recipes#66825 as 1st step

Seems that eggnog mapper does not support v6 / v7 (yet?) eggnogdb/eggnog-mapper#588

I think we can close this here. Follow the upstream issue :) and we can update as soon as there are updates
