2018-07-25 Tutorial Development Mtg (Anthony Arendt) Takeaways:

Focus on creating high-level understanding of approaches to common visualization tasks for geodata. Slippy maps, simple dataframe maps, etc.
Cartopy is useful to keep in there because of 1) projections + 2) close interopabilty with matplotlib. Issues: fiddly
Switch from Folium to Mapbox mapping library (as per conversation with Shay)
Consider demonstrating an already-created Tableau map as an example of a tool for EDA/presentations/engagement.
Possible consideration of holoviews/geoviews but is likely too in-depth for the audience.
