πŸ’« About Me:

I'm a Sr. Staff-level engineer specialising in real-time, event-driven systems for financial services. I build streaming platforms that have to be correct under load β€” where a dropped event is a reconciliation break, not a retry.

Most of my work sits on Apache Kafka and Apache Flink. I architected and led the development of an event-driven platform processing transactional and reconciliation data across core banking systems: strict ordering guarantees, backward-compatible Avro schema evolution, exactly-once delivery, and event-time semantics that handle late and out-of-order arrivals without compromising financial-grade consistency.

Beyond the pipelines, I own the harder architectural calls β€” event sourcing for auditable, replayable state transitions; polyglot persistence across Cassandra and Oracle; Kafka topology and partition strategy from topic design through broker tuning; reconciliation frameworks that catch data drift between ingestion, processing, and downstream consumption.

Most recently, I led the technical transformation of an internally scoped banking platform into a SaaS-ready, multi-tenant product β€” defining tenancy boundaries, data isolation, and onboarding for deployment across ING country entities globally, working closely with infrastructure, compliance, and product.

I act as the technical authority on Kafka and Flink for my team, spanning both sides of the discipline: developer-facing (stream design, schema evolution) and operational (cluster health, scaling, deployment, rollback).

Core: Apache Kafka Β· Apache Flink Β· Event Sourcing Β· Stream Processing Β· Avro / Schema Registry Β· Cassandra Β· Oracle Β· Spring Boot Β· Multi-tenant SaaS Architecture

My technology stack includes:
1. Backend: Java21/25, Spring(Boot, Cloud, Security), Microservices, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Redis, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
2. Frontend: JavaScript, Typescript, React, Redux, React queries, React Hook Form, etc.
