Given recent success with adding support for new boards by just using the right DTB and u-boot with OPi 5 Pro #8, I tried doing the same here.
The image uses vendor-provided kernel + upstream u-boot from Nixpkgs. Upstream kernel from Nixpkgs supports CM3588NAS, but its drivers differ from vendor kernel we provide here (RKNPU #4 is one example), therefore some may find vendor kernel useful nevertheless.
To build this PR, run
nix build .#sdImage-cm3588nas. The resulting SD image includes U-Boot and should be bootable directly.Would appreciate any feedback from someone who can test if this boots and whether there are any issues with the peripherals.
