Incorrect rendering of shadows and lighting in 3D when viewed from the side #112357

Issue description

In general, there are two points I cannot understand:

  1. In 3D view, I see all shadows correctly. When viewed from the side, the shadows look normal from most angles, but from one side they are displayed incorrectly.
  2. In 3D view, the sun is positioned above, but when viewed from the side, it displays a strange version of itself, as far as I understand.

It looks like two rendering bugs. I checked in an empty project, and this has been the case from the start, not due to any settings.

And yes, regarding the second point about this strange and unnecessary spot, I can still understand that it might be something needed and not a bug, but I don’t understand why the shadows are broken.
